Neko and ChocolateYonaka sighed and took another sip of her drink. The smell of hot chocolate floated to her nose as she inhaled deeply.   
 She was sitting in the café her god-father had opened a few months ago, waiting for someone from the agency to contact her. The message she received a few days prior had said to meet here at two o’clock. She checked her watch once again.   
 5:29. Someone’s head was going to roll for making her wait this long, she had others obligations to attend today after all.   
 Yonaka looked up at the door as the bell sounded a new shopper coming in. Yonaka smiled as she re Neko and Chocolate

The Fake RoseYonaka stared longingly at a rose that lay up on the bookshelf. Sighing, a wistful smile planted itself on her face, she leaned back comfortably in the big couch and continued staring.      Mr. Egypt, real name, Chenzira Funsani, looked up from his laptop, taking in Yonaka’s appearance. His curiosity was evident when he noticed her expression. He rolled his eyes when he heard her sigh again, and got up. Glancing between her and the rose several times, he thought to himself and nodded, like he was agreeing with some thought. He walked over to the bookshelf and snatched the rose.

 Hey, my name is Yonaka. I’m nineteen, and so far, my life has been lived in constant fear. I’m here to introduce myself and what my life has bee like so far, although I highly doubt anyone would want to hear of the horrors of others….unless you’re my older brother.

18th Birthday

Yay. Woot. Can you feel my enthusiasm? Yes, I am finally eighteen. It is a pretty exciting occasion, despite my lack of thrill. You see, my mother has finally come home.

About a month ago, she was diagnosed with brest cancer. Last wednesday, she went in to have surgery to have her brest removed. She was supposed to come home the following day, but due to some blood issues, they had her stay a few more days. I stayed with her for the past few nights, so i'm really tired. She came home yesterday afternoon. I'm so happy she's back. :)

Today's going pretty well. I've been helping mom out around the house, doing chores and such. I don't want her lifting a finger. She's doing fine, she's up and about. Her coming home was the best birthday present I could have asked for.

Well, that's it for now. I hope all of you are doing well. :hug:
